Returns & Refunds 🛡️

Zitt Online Store Refund & Return Policy — Communication Equipment (FCCPA 2018 Compliant Last updated: June 2024)

1. Return window

Returns and replacement requests must be submitted within 7 days of confirmed delivery. Requests received after this window will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Defective or damaged items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Delayed damage reports will not qualify for expedited processing.
All returns are strictly non-negotiable after 7 days. No exceptions will be made regardless of reason.

2. Conditions for an eligible return

All of the following conditions must be met simultaneously for a return to be approved:

Product is completely unused and in the exact same condition as delivered.
Original packaging is intact — all seals, tags, accessories, and manuals must be present and undamaged.
Valid proof of purchase (order invoice or receipt) is provided at the time of the return request.

3. Accepted return reasons

Confirmed manufacturer defect or faulty unit upon first use
Physical damage that occurred during transit or delivery
Incorrect item delivered (wrong model, colour, or specification)

Not accepted

Opened, used, or activated products — including all Intrinsically Safe radios
Missing original packaging, seals, accessories, or documentation
Damage from misuse, accidental drops, water ingress, or unauthorised repair
Custom-programmed or frequency-configured radios (unless defective on arrival)
Change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or price-related disputes

4. Refund process & fees

Once a returned item is received and physically inspected, refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
Refunds are issued exclusively via the original payment method. No alternative payment methods will be used.
A 10% restocking fee applies to all approved returns, except where the fault is a confirmed manufacturer defect or delivery damage caused by our logistics partner.
Outbound shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is the result of our error (wrong item dispatched or delivery damage).
Return shipping costs to our Lagos warehouse are borne by the customer, except in cases of confirmed delivery damage or incorrect dispatch.

5. Warranty

All walkie-talkies carry a minimum 3-month warranty from the date of delivery.
Warranty covers manufacturing defects and component failures under normal operating conditions only.
Warranty is void in cases of physical damage, liquid ingress beyond rated IP protection, misuse, unauthorised repair, or tampering with internal components.
Intrinsically Safe (ATEX/IECEx) certification is immediately invalidated if the device is opened, modified, or repaired by any unauthorised party. Such devices will not qualify for warranty claims.

6. How to initiate a return

Contact us immediately via WhatsApp or email within the eligible window. Do not return any item without prior authorisation — unauthorised returns will be refused and returned at the sender’s cost.
Provide your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photographic or video evidence of the defect or damage within 24 hours of raising the complaint.
Await your RMA number. Our team will review your submission and issue a Return Merchandise Authorisation within 1–2 business days if the claim qualifies.
Ship the item in its original packaging to our Lagos warehouse, clearly marking the RMA number on the outer packaging. Items without an RMA number will be refused at our warehouse.
Await inspection and confirmation. We will notify you of the outcome within 3 business days of receiving the item. Approved refunds or replacements will be processed promptly thereafter.

NOTE: Zitt Online Store reserves the right to inspect and test all returned items before approving any refund or replacement.
